DESCRIPTION:On May 2\, grab your friends\, family and neighbors and head over to Mission Road to watch the 75th Anniversary parade celebrating "Prairie Village Through the Decades." The parade will kick off at 10 a.m.\, followed by live music and festivities at Corinth Square until 1 p.m. Residents are encouraged to line the sidewalks along Mission Road from 79th Street to 83rd Street to watch the parade\, then move to Corinth Square for the after-party. The celebration at Corinth Square will include a classic car show featuring vehicles in the parade\, yard games and other activities\, and a performance by Back Alley Brass Band. The band performs New Orleans-style brass music. During the parade\, restrooms and parking will be available at Mission Road Community of Christ Church\, located at 79th Street and Mission Road. Parking will also be available at Corinth Elementary School\, located at 83rd and Mission Road. The parade is brought to you by staff and volunteers with the City of Prairie Village. The after party is in partnership with First Washington Realty\, Corinth Square\, and the City of Prairie Village.
