In this one-day pottery experience\, you'll glaze your own handmade ceramic pumpkin and watch it transform during a live Raku firing.Raku is known for its smoky surfaces\, metallic flashes\, crackle patterns\, and unpredictable results. You'll choose your Raku glazes\, decorate your pumpkin\, and then watch as it is fired in a red-hot kiln and moved into the reduction process where fire and smoke create its final surface.Every pumpkin comes out differently\, and that's part of the fun. Once your piece has cooled and been cleaned\, you'll take your finished Raku pumpkin home with you that same day.No pottery experience is needed.
