RP75: Earth Day Native Tree & Plant Giveaway

Celebrate Earth Day with us at R Park! Join us on Saturday, April 25 at 9 a.m. for free native trees and plants hosted by Bridging the Gap (through the Heartland Tree Alliance program), and the Roeland Park Sustainability Committee. In honor of Roeland Park’s 75th anniversary, seventy-five trees will be given away. Trees are available to anyone on a first-come, first-served basis (limit 2 per household). We’ll also have native plants + mosquito dunks for RP residents. Giveaway starts at 9AM on a first come first serve basis. KC Can Compost will be on site, along with information about Mosquito Dunks and other sustainability resources. Stop by, pick up a tree or plants, and celebrate Earth Day with the community.
