Growing Futures Service Project

The Northeast Leadership class of Johnson County is wrapping up its program with a final service project to support local children. The group is collecting glue sticks and stickers for Growing Futures Early Education Center, a nonprofit organization serving young children and families in the community.
Community members attending the class graduation are encouraged to bring a donation. Items like glue sticks and stickers will be used in classrooms to support learning and daily activities.
Graduation will be held Wednesday, June 3 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at Lifted Logic at 5600 W 95th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.
Donations will be collected at the event.

JCCC Service Project

The Northeast Johnson County Leadership Class of 2026 is working on its graduation service project, and the goal is simple: help a student stay in school.
The class is raising funds for the Johnson County Community College Basic Needs Center and Student Assistance Fund. These programs help students who are dealing with unexpected financial challenges.
Donations of any amount are welcome and make a difference. The class has already raised more than $700 and will continue collecting contributions through June, with all funds going directly to support JCCC students.
To give, send a donation via Venmo to @Stephanie-Neu.
This is a small way for the community to step in and help a student keep moving forward.
