New Curator of Engagement Joins Johnson County Museum

We’re thrilled to share Camille Kulig, an accomplished museum professional with experience in history museums and arts philanthropy, recently joined the Museum team as the new Curator of Engagement.

Before moving to Johnson County, Camille was based in Bentonville, Arkansas where she managed a nationwide art-sharing program for the Art Bridges Foundation. Camille is originally from Massachusetts and studied art history at KU (Rock Chalk!). While there, she fell in love with Kansas and the bi-state area and soon began working in public programming at the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

“I am delighted to be working and living in an area that I have the privilege to call home again. The Johnson County Museum has long been a leader in visitor-first learning, exploration, and engagement, and it my honor to be part of a team dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich, regional histories of Johnson County. I look forward to deepening and building new partnerships, expanding the Museum’s reach and impact, and of course, getting to know all of you.”
